Cheyenne's involvement with FFA

Cheyenne enjoys working with all types of animals. During her freshman year she jumped into the various FFA activites and has excelled. She has competed in various competitions throughout Northern California. These competitions were held at Fresno State University, UC Davis, Cal Poly, and Chico State.

While working with animals is her lifes dream, she also earned an award for being a Star Greenhand along with her Greenhand Degree. While these are great achievments they are not her biggest achievement for the year. Cheyenne's biggest personal achievement is getting elected as her chapters Vice President for the past 2 years. As a sophomore she was the youngest officer on the team and looks forward to the challenges each year provides.

FFA has challenged her in many ways and has molded her to become a great leader and communicator. She has been in front of a few large crouds to speak on various topics with the largest being at the CA State FFA Convention. She got up to speak in front of the 5,000+ attendees to discuss a changed in the State FFA by-laws. Cheyenne always looks forward to the her Anti-Bully and Motivational Speaking Engagements. She is passionate about helping motivate people to Dream Big and Reach for the Stars. She is living proof that you can attain your goals if you set your mind to it and are humble enough to admit your flaws and work to correct them, despite having a rough start in life.

Cheyenne's Supervised Agriculture Experience involves angora goats and chickens. Her angora goat program includes breeding, fiber production, fiber sales, and competing at the California State Fair. She has has won 1st and 2nd place ribbons at the fair for her angora goats.

Her Chicken project includes egg production and competitions at the local county fairs. She has received Grand Reserve, two 1st place, and two 2nd place ribbons so far. Cheyenne loves her chickens and entertains the crowds at every fair. She will bring one of her chickens out of the cage and walk around with it on her shoulder while educating those who have questions.
